BACKGOUND

An ontology of the synthetic is a conceptual exploration that investigates how synthetic systems transform existence, knowledge, and meaning. emerging from the need to understand the ontological and epistemological impact of algorithmic ecologies, the project examines how artificial agents enact rules, boundaries, and transitions that reshape our perception of reality. through a cartography of movements that stabilize, disrupt, or reconfigure space, it operates as a speculative framework mapping the entanglement of natural, artificial, and imagined intelligences at the threshold of human awareness.
